Animal Themed Breakfast Ideas
Easy and delicious breakfast ideas!
Need cute breakfast ideas to get your kids excited about going to the zoo? Here are easy and delicious ideas!
1. Animal Pancakes

Make two sizes of pancakes using your batter: one large and one small. For the lion, place the large pancake on a plate, add the small pancake at the bottom for the nose area, place a strawberry for the nose, and use blueberries to outline the mouth. For the monkey, place one large pancake in the center, add two small pancakes on the left and right for ears and one small pancake at the bottom, then use a blueberry for the nose and blueberries to create a smile.
2. Baby Chick Toast

Make your scrambled eggs as usual and shape them into a semi-oval for the chick’s body. Place it on top of a piece of toast and add two berries for the eyes. Use small pieces of carrot or sweet potato to make the nose, mouth, hands, and feet.
3. Giraffe Bananas

Cut your bananas in half and drizzle small chocolate circles onto a sheet, then freeze them to use as the giraffe’s spots. Cut the tops off white chocolate chips for the eyes and add a small dot of chocolate in the center for the pupils. Make the antlers by piping chocolate onto a sheet, freeze them, and then attach everything to the banana to create adorable giraffes.
4. Owl Waffles

Make your waffle and place it on a plate, then put one M&M or chocolate chip in each square of the waffle. Slice a banana and place two rounds on top as the eyes, adding chocolate chips in the center for the pupils. Place an almond or orange M&M under the eyes to create the owl’s beak.
5. Animal Themed Oatmeal

Make your child’s bowl of oatmeal as usual. Slice a banana into round pieces and use them to create the ears and nose. Place blueberries to finish the face—one on the nose and two for the eyes.
